NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Business development and portfolio manager. In this role, you will actively participate in the investment process, gaining in‑depth knowledge and contributing to its continuous development. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and our brokerage network on a wide range of professional investment matters.
Responsibilities:
- Liquidity management of UL funds, trading in investment fund units and in the Hungarian money market, bond and equity markets. Hedging spot foreign exchange transactions.
- Maintenance and development of internally developed excel applications supporting liquidity management.
- Prepares business and market analyses and actively contributes to the FO meeting.
- Providing the sales network with up-to-date market information and educational materials. Conduct training sessions for the partner network. Preparing and monitoring newsletters.
- Constantly monitor competitors' product and investment solutions. Identifying new market trends, investigating their potential application to the Company's products.
- Support the work of Product Development, Sales Support, Marketing, Complaints Management and Contact Center with new investment ideas and market opportunities based on up-to-date market knowledge.
- Assisting and supervising the trainees' daily tasks during the training period. Providing guidance to trainees regarding the operation of the Insurance Company.
- Recording transactions, preparing reports and analyses concerning the management of traditional portfolios.
What matters to us:
- College/University degree preferably in Investments or Economics
- Fluent English knowledge
- 1-3 years of experience with business development and portfolio management
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decision making
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and support senior colleagues in preparing reports and business analyses
- Good communication skills
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, and openness to learning new tools, processes, and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, reporting, and follow‑up activities
- Solid MS Office knowledge, especially Excel and PowerPoint
