The Role at a Glance

The Business Coordinator I, under general supervision, provides essential business and administrative support for the Law Enforcement and Protective Services Division of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). This position is responsible for accounts receivable activities, travel reimbursement processing, and coordination of contracts and grants in compliance with TEEX, Texas A&M University System, and state policies. The Business Coordinator I works collaboratively with Division staff and Business Office personnel to ensure accurate financial processing, timely reporting, and efficient business operations.

Qualifications of the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Two years of related general office, accounting, or personnel operations.

  • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Equivalency: Will consider an associate’s degree and four years of experience or a High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience
