About the job

As a Business Controller, reporting to the Head of Finance UK &Ireland, you will support with the Market Cluster Controlling activities. Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Co-piloting and acting as a financial advisor for the Controlling Process (Plan–Report–Analyze–Decision Support), by setting clear financial targets, providing holistic performance reporting
  • Adopting a proactive mindset in foreseeing and highlighting future developments, identifying gaps, improvement opportunities and risks to drive maximum profitability and recommending solutions from a financial perspective
  • Identifying key business drivers ensuring they match the strategies, targets and budget from a financial perspective and define requirements in regard to reporting and controlling processes towards respective operational units
  • Controlling policies for the safeguarding of cash and other assets and appropriate allocation of corporate resources
  • Delivering finance updates and analysis at relevant Market Cluster management business review meetings to ensure transparency on performance and interventions

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Strong business, commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience in financial accounting, financial analysis, and business controlling as well as knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP System)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships with various stakeholders in real and virtual networked organization
