In your role you will work with operational and financial stakeholders to optimize and control the cost and revenue elements of the business. As a business controller, you will be expected to quickly get to know the business and work across the floor and support stakeholders’ decision-making processes.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for revenue and cost control for at least 2 operational rigs
Budgeting process- cooperation with Rig Managers
Cooperation with Rig Managers during CAPEX outlook file preparation
Complex analysis of all revenue streams. Checking compliance with the sales contract, mark-up validation, invoicing supervision, accruals preparation, deviation analysis & comments
Comprehensive OPEX and CAPEX cost control. Actuals vs budget difference analysis, preparation of extensive explanations, accruals posting, reporting
Preparing and conducting regular meetings with business stakeholders, presenting current and YTD financial situation, including a discussion on future periods
Projects control: project creation, maintenance, detailed cost monitoring, invoicing & summary memo preparation
ERP/HFM/Cost control tools interface reconciliation
Daily cooperation with Finance Team (GL, AP, AR, LA), Regional Finance Managers, Supply Chain, Logistics & HR teams
Supporting new joiners
Processes & tools improvements
Adapting new assets to Noble processes after ERP migrations, mergers and acquisition
Our Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
3+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on business or cost controlling
Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Advanced accounting knowledge, particularly in revenue and cost accounting
Knowledge of project cost controlling within an ERP system
In-depth understanding of finance processes and policies, with the ability to apply them in daily work
Experience with OneStream, HFM or similar systems preferred
Experience working in international environments
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Proactive approach to improving individual and team performance
Willingness to travel and an international mindset
