As part of the Employee Benefits Sales & Relationship Management (EB S&RM) organization, the Data and Analytics team is responsible for maintaining and expanding analytic tools and capabilities focusing on measuring KPIs such as market opportunity, RFP activity, sales premium, enrollment, and in-force growth and persistency. The Business Consultant role will be an integral part in helping deliver value across EB S&RM.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
Assist the Product Owner for Salesforce.com
Ability to identify, define, and prioritize development work in an agile environment
Ability to interact with and influence stakeholders representing multiple business areas
Support utilization of and training for all Salesforce capabilities
Partner with Sales leaders, Licensing and Contracting, EDO and other business partners to maintain the coding of brokers, sales representative territories and other key attributes used in BI asset
Develop, oversee, and manage tools and systems that respond to the strategic agenda for EB S&RM. Assumes responsibility for helping manage projects or operational issues related to driving book growth.
Proactively identify opportunities to adopt new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to improve efficiency of reporting and analytics.
Serves as a liaison across departments and consults with business partners in determining and anticipating customer impacts as strategies or major work processes evolve.
Effectively work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to take a concept/vision and translate into an effective business plan.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS OF THIS POSITION?
At least 2 years of experience with Employee Benefits
Previous experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred
Familiarity with agile approach and methodology
Experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with Tableau Desktop/Tableau Prep
Strong problem-solving skills and project management experience
Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Strong communication skills with the ability to present to internal audiences
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
