We are looking for a Business Consultant to join our Document Automation team in Prague. With 30 specialists supporting a platform used across nearly 50 countries — and soon across the entire PwC network — you will help deliver a broad portfolio of document‑related services, from contract management and invoice automation to regulated documents, records management, and large‑scale workflow automation.

As a Business Consultant, you will work across all project stages and help clients transform the way they manage documents and processes. You will engage directly with clients, understand their challenges, and translate them into solutions built on leading DMS, ECM, AI, workflow and process‑automation technologies. The role offers the opportunity to work on impactful local and international projects, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and further develop your consulting, technical, and project skills — including exposure to modern AI‑driven automation.

You will:

  • Participate in early‑stage client discussions to identify document‑related pains and map them to suitable document‑automation solutions.

  • Present DMS capabilities and explain how specific platforms address client needs.

  • Conduct detailed requirements analysis and prepare structured business solution designs.

  • Facilitate client workshops, internal design sessions, and presentations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Contribute to engagements, helping clients decide what solutions to implement and how best to implement them.

  • Support the delivery of document‑automation projects to ensure solutions match client expectations and agreed scope.

  • Work on cross‑functional projects using modern, cutting‑edge document technologies.

  • Collaborate with other PwC teams — including Data and AI — to create holistic, value‑adding solutions for clients.

  • Engage in international projects and broaden your expertise in emerging automation approaches.

This role is ideal for a mid‑level consultant who wants to grow fast, work with world‑class technologies, and shape how organizations manage documents in an era where AI introduces new, exciting possibilities.

We help clients build modern, efficient and compliant document ecosystems — and you can be part of it.

Requirements of the role

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a similar client‑facing role, with exposure to digital transformation, experience with document‑related solutions is an advantage.

  • Confident communication and presentation abilities, including running client workshops and participating in presales discussions.

  • Curiosity about new trends in document automation, workflow technologies, and AI‑driven solutions.

  • Understanding of how information systems work, including the ability to discuss processes with technical teams; hands‑on configuration experience is an advantage.

  • Nice to have: experience with DMS/ECM tools, workflow automation, invoice automation, contract management, or AI‑based document processing.

  • Structured thinking, independence, teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and technical specialists.

  • Proactive mindset, openness to learning, and readiness to take on new challenges with a growth‑oriented attitude.

  • University degree in a relevant field.

  • Proficiency in Czech and English, both spoken and written.

  • Willingness to work primarily from the Prague office when not on client engagements.
