Business consultant - Expertise Team Recon

We are looking for a curious, proactive, and collaborative team player to strengthen our team in ING Wholesale bank. The reconciliation space is a growing capability within ING with a clear purpose to keep
the bank safe. By ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity of our data we act as gatekeepers across various types of control models. Together with our execution hub in the Philippines we manage a large reconciliation portfolio including P&L, Payment, Nostro, Credit risk, Inventory, and regulatory reconciliation, for various ING business lines around the globe.
 

Role & Responsibilities
You will be part of the change sub-team working on a diverse portfolio. This is where
the change aspects are delivered from:

  • Manage end to end a reconciliation journey from requirement gathering, building, testing and deployment
  • In addition, stakeholder interaction and continuous learning is crucial to stay ahead
  • You and your team members will guide business stakeholders and partners in the refinement of control objectives, and ensure the implementation fits within our standardized and centralized Reconciliation-as-a-Service (RaaS) model
  • Identify and manage existing and emerging risks (Financial and Non-Financial) that stems from business activities; ensure risks are timely identified, effectively measured monitored and controlled
  • Drive up business resilience, helping the business areas to understand, own and control their key risks

Requirements

  • You have an academic or master degree and are fluent in English
  • 2-5 years’ professional experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or project manager
  • Knowledge and skills regarding Bank operation and/or Reconciliation, product knowledge on Financial Markets and/or Treasury
  • Knowledge of any of the following systems is an advantage: Intellimatch, Duco, Murex, Sophis, Summit
  • Strong team player, self-organizing and proactive with ability to connect, having growth mind-set, flexibility, focused on cooperation and sharing knowledge
  • This role is particularly suited for team players with organizational skills, eye for detail and can-do attitude
