Role Purpose

As a Business Architect, you’ll deeply understand key business domains and define how capabilities, processes, and systems align to strategic objectives. You will:

• Drive consistent business outcomes by translating strategy into executable frameworks.

• Guide end-to-end solution delivery from capability modelling to implementation oversight.

• Collaborate across CX, Product, IT, Risk, and Compliance to shape seamless, compliant capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Capability Design

  • Map and maintain business capability models, value streams, and operating platforms 

  • Analyze opportunities and create business cases for process improvements and product enhancements

• Requirements & Solution Governance

  • Produce high-quality Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) 

  • Ensure architecture governance—evaluating compliance, risk, process optimization 

• Cross-functional Collaboration & Delivery Leadership

  • Facilitate end-to-end delivery with UX, Dev, Analytics, and CI teams 

  • Mentor and share best practices for requirements engineering, stakeholder engagement, and governance , 

• Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership in areas like Capability Mapping, Data Stewardship, and Process Optimization, 

  • Identify waste, cost efficiencies, and drive agile ways of working aligned to strategy

Qualifications & Experience

• 7–10+ years in business architecture, enterprise transformation, or similar roles 

• Proven track record in capability mapping, requirements engineering, business-case development, and governance  

• Financial services/domain experience is preferred
