The NetSuite Business Application Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and support of NetSuite ERP and its integrations with other business systems. This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, implement system enhancements, and ensure the reliability and scalability of the ERP ecosystem.
Design, configure, and maintain NetSuite ERP modules including Financials, Order Management, Procurement, and Inventory
Develop custom scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0), workflows, and integrations to support business needs
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to gather requirements and implement solutions
Manage system upgrades, testing, and deployment of new features
Create and maintain dashboards, saved searches, KPIs, and reports
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and customizations
Support data migration, cleansing, and validation efforts
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
Maintain and enhance integrations between NetSuite, Zip, and Concur using APIs or middleware
Create and manage saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows in NetSuite
Support procurement workflows and vendor onboarding in Zip
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including SuiteScript development
Strong understanding of business processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report
Experience with integration tools (e.g., Celigo, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) is a plus
Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation Certification
Experience with NetSuite OneWorld
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit controls
