Business Analytics Senior Advisor - Evernorth

The Business Analytics Senior Advisor position provides strategic counsel and analytics expertise to senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities, develop analytic solutions, and embed data-driven processes that improve operational efficiency and outcomes. You will leverage advanced data science and technology capabilities to deliver actionable insights and measurable results. As a key member of the Client Reporting and Analytics team, you will design and implement analytical and statistical models to predict, classify, and forecast business metrics that inform critical decisions. Your work will directly influence key performance indicators and help clients achieve cost-effective, high-quality healthcare solutions. The Senior Advisor will support Account Management and clients by extracting and interpreting data from multiple sources, delivering timely and accurate reporting, and providing consultative analytics support. This role requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to account teams, financial analysts, and clients, providing consultation on complex PBM-related issues (benefit setup, trend management, pricing, utilization).
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytics using SQL, Python, Tableau, and other tools; extract and manipulate data from data warehouses to create customized reports.
  • Evaluate and present healthcare utilization, cost containment, and clinical quality reports; make recommendations to drive decision-making and cost control.
  • Manage triage and prioritization of ad-hoc reporting requests, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to service-level agreements.
  • Conduct claims analysis, error resolution, and root cause investigations to support account teams and improve processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Research, and Application teams to identify opportunities for automation and development of new models or reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of healthcare analytics experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases; experience with Tableau, R, and other visualization tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to simplify complex analyses for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and passion for improving customer-focused processes.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver sustainable, high-quality results.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,500 - 182,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
