As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's C&IB Data Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA; or Cleveland, OH.

Job Summary:

The Business Analytics Lead is responsible for delivering advanced analytics, data models, and executive level dashboards that support strategic decision making and revenue growth. This role requires strong hands on technical expertise in Python, SQL, advanced analytics, and Tableau/Power BI, along with the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, strong presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Analytics & Modeling
• Apply advanced analytics techniques to solve complex business and revenue problems.
• Design, develop, and enhance analytical models, demonstrating a strong understanding of modeling and model development.
• Build and maintain scalable analytical solutions using Python, SQL, and/or R.
• Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement of analytical models.

Data Engineering & Data Pipelines
• Build and manage advanced data models and data pipelines using SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Perform data querying, analysis, and reconciliation across multiple data sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize data structures, workflows, and processes to support analytics and reporting at scale.

Dashboards & Data Visualization
• Lead the design, automation, and optimization of executive level dashboards and reporting, primarily using Tableau.
• Develop high quality dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Ensure dashboards are performance optimized, user friendly, and tailored to senior leadership needs.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data visualization and executive reporting.

Revenue & Sales Enablement Analytics
• Support sales enablement and revenue analytics initiatives, including performance tracking, forecasting, and business insight development.
• Analyze revenue trends, drivers, and opportunities to inform strategic decision making.
• Partner with sales and business stakeholders to deliver actionable, data driven recommendations.

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Partnership
• Apply strong judgment, attention to detail, and a consultative mindset when framing insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver executive ready presentations that translate complex analytics into business impact.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross functional partners.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience in advanced analytics, business analytics, or data analytics.
• Senior level experience supporting executive stakeholders and strategic initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, automation, or testing activities.
• Strong hands on experience with SQL for data querying, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of analytics modeling and model development.
• Hands on experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Experience with R and/or R Shiny.
• Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

Job Description

  • Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
  • Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Assists peers with guidance on analytic approaches related to more complex solutions.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $161,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
