What you'll do:

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Analyze a wide range of operational topics—from straightforward trends to complex, multi‑variable challenges—and present clear findings, insights, and recommendations.

  • Produce and distribute regular daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for stakeholders across Domestic Transportation, senior leadership, CTR Associate Dealers, and carrier partners.

  • Translate raw data into meaningful visualizations and insights that support operational decision‑making.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs and enhance service performance by applying continuous improvement techniques to transportation processes.

  • Map current‑state workflows, evaluate gaps, and recommend improvements supported by data and operational understanding.

  • Partner with operations teams to implement and monitor changes that drive measurable results.

Project Support & Solution Development:

  • Participate in identifying business needs and developing recommendations for analytical tools, reporting enhancements, and process improvements.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to design, build, test, and launch new solutions and tools.

  • Prepare clear documentation, presentations, and summaries of project outcomes and analytical insights.

  • Present findings, risks, and recommendations to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across functions.

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Post‑secondary program in a relevant field such as Data Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Mathematics

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, supply chain, logistics, transportation, or a related field.

  • Foundational Python programming skills, with experience using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy; willingness to learn more advanced tools (e.g., scikit‑learn).

  • Working knowledge of SQL, including basic querying and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Access).

  • Experience building reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

  • Strong mathematics and statistics fundamentals, with the ability to apply analytical thinking to real business questions.

  • Exposure to or strong interest in machine learning concepts, including data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand operational challenges and identify analytical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain analytical findings in clear, simple terms to non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with project management principles, process analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $23.00 and $37.00 CAD Hourly. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
