Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst – Senior Associate to join our team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the identification, analysis, and delivery of business solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring successful delivery of initiatives aligned to our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand goals, processes, and challenges.
- Elicit and document clear, concise business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and process mapping.
- Analyze and translate business needs into functional specifications for technology and change initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to support business cases and decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Support the development of test plans and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and feedback loops.
- Provide coaching or oversight to junior team members as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of business analysis practices, tools, and trends.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a consulting, technology, or corporate environment.
- Strong experience with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, BPMN).
- Proficient in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working on complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Professional certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA) is a plus.
- Experience in [industry, e.g., financial services, healthcare, supply chain] is desirable.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
