Skill- Business Analyst - Payments and Mainframe
Experience : 4- 7 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Must be from cards and payment background
Manage and plan the delivery of complex analysis and problem-solving tasks according to specified timeframes
Synthesise information and elicit requirements using a number of techniques, and engage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Decompose initiatives and business outcomes into Epics and User stories which will enable a squad to start delivering value.
Drive the refinement of the stories through to the definition of ready.
Perform data analysis and mapping to support data migration and integration Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture
Prepare, manage and communicate high level and detailed business requirements documents
Assist stakeholders in making informed decisions by providing meaningful insights from available data, domain knowledge, and sound design principles
Manage conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and squad members remain in agreement on solution scope and actual needs
Ensure adherence to release/delivery frameworks and methodologies and compliance across customer propositions
Review and contribute to specification documents including functional specifications, interface specifications, API specifications, technical and operational procedures documents and the like.
Identify and manage operational and implementation risks and issues
Engage service providers, technology partners, as required
All tasks assigned and carried out must be performed in accordance with all relevant internal Bank policies, standards and external legislative requirements.
Essential Skills:
At least 4 years’ experience delivering complex technical changes as a Business Analyst
Expertise in credit card lifecycle and processes
Experience working in SCRUM teams and applying AGILE methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills at varying levels
Strong business acumen
Understanding of DevOps, Cloud Technologies (particularly AWS)
Experience in risk and change management processes.
Relevant IT tertiary qualification
Experience working in SCRUM teams and applying AGILE methodologies.
Previous experience in complex data migrations
