What You Will Do:

Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering is looking for a self-motivated individual to join its Resource Management team as a Business Analyst, supporting Commercial Repair Programs. This position is an onsite work arrangement based out of East Hartford, CT.

  • Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financials to develop forecasts and recommendations.
  • Tracking of approved budgets, costs, funding and communicating status. 
  • Supporting programs with WBS creation and charge number management.
  • Assisting in manpower planning.
  • Performing analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to Project Leadership Team for corrective action implementation.
  • Supporting teams in preparation of program financial review.
  • Leading and supporting implementation of new financial tools.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of meaningful performance metrics.
  • Driving application of CORE Tools & Process Improvement in support of the program team.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Business and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in large data analysis and consolidation.
  • Experience in Report creation and maintenance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts.
  • 10% Travel

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • High level of MS-Excel proficiency (Macros, complex formulas, multi workbook links)
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proven ability to present to management and executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize workload and accommodate numerous stakeholders with deep critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams, with peers and management.
  • Project management and collaboration skills with ability to lead project teams by influencing

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
