Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance systems. The ideal candidate should have strong domain expertise, excellent client interfacing skills, and hands-on experience with project discovery, solutioning, and functional design. The role also requires close collaboration with project teams and involvement in functional testing to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering
Interface with clients to understand business needs, processes, and objectives.
Lead project discovery workshops and document requirements comprehensively.
Solutioning & Functional Design
Develop innovative and practical solutions aligned with client requirements.
Create detailed functional design documents and workflows.
Collaboration & Implementation
Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Support project implementation activities, providing expertise on P&C systems.
Testing & Validation
Perform functional testing to validate system configurations and enhancements.
Work with clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve any issues.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain clear and concise documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management on project progress.
Required Skills & Experience:
Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, processes, and industry standards.
System Knowledge: Proven implementation experience with P400 or Integral P&C systems.
Project Discovery: Ability to lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, and propose effective solutions.
Functional Design: Proficiency in creating functional design documents and system workflows.
Testing: Hands-on experience with functional testing and defect resolution.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with a focus on stakeholder management.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and ensure successful project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with end-to-end implementation projects in P&C insurance systems.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or insurance domain is a plus.
