Role Description:
The Global Markets Change and Transformation team are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team! We are a team of 25, split into two equal sub teams, spread across Chester, London, Dublin and New Jersey. You will be responsible for gathering information, liaising with project teams and implementing transaction reporting regulation changes. The role will be focused around identifying process improvements through detailed analysis, driving change and implementing improved processes.
Responsibilities:
- You will work with internal stakeholders to document regulatory requirements and analyse data fields
- You will liaise with technology and the business to document business scenarios and define data acceptance criteria
- You will engage with testing and quality assurance processes to confirm accuracy of reporting and ensure project development is aligned to requirements
- You will provide business analysis and project management support on regulatory transaction reporting implementation projects
- You will lead projects and/or remediation requirement documentation efforts based on identified gaps and controls needed for sustained performance
- You will develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan, raising any risks, developing a mitigation plan, and escalating issues appropriately to respective stakeholders
What we are looking for:
- Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience including analysis techniques and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
- Experience managing stakeholders of all levels & being able to articulate large scale information into executive summaries
- Experience in identifying process improvements and seeing projects through to the end
Skills that will help (optional):
- You will have knowledge of financial regulatory transaction reporting requirements including MiFID/MiFIR (TR and PTT), EMIR, SFTR, CFTC, SEC reporting
- A proven track record of liaising with technology teams will be a plus
- Being able to work unsupervised, to tight deadlines would be a plus
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and JIRA would be an advantage
- Knowledge of structured project management methods such as PRINCE2 or Microsoft Solutions Framework
- Experience implementing process improvement would be a plus.
