Description:

Digital Workplace Application & Store  is an essential product provided  by Digital Workplace. Application Team manages and deploy applications in the Airbus Landscape. With our experienced team based in France, Germany and India, it is the center of management of COTS and SaaS based applications. 

As an Enterprise Browser Administrator, you will be the primary operator of the managed browser environment across the global enterprise. You will ensure a secure, high-performance, and seamless web experience for thousands of users while maintaining strict compliance with aerospace-grade security standards.

Qualification & Experience:

We are seeking a proactive Enterprise Browser Administrator who pairs technical mastery with the interpersonal finesse required to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape. The ideal candidate is a lifelong learner who can translate technical requirements into business value while adapting seamlessly to the evolving digital needs of a global workforce

 

PRIMARY

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all browser-related service requests (via ServiceNow/SNOW) are triaged, addressed, and resolved within established Service Level Agreements while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction (CSAT)

  • Proactively monitor browser stability and compatibility to minimize operational downtime caused by updates or misconfigurations

  • Manage browser configurations through AD, with a deep understanding of OU (Organizational Unit) inheritance, enforcement, and filtering to ensure policies reach the correct endpoints without conflict

  • Maintain compatibility for legacy web applications while steering the organization toward modern web standards

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of Browser deployment for Airbus commercial 

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Web browsers to centralize browser visibility and security across Windows, macOS, and chromebooks

  • Leverage the Google Admin Console to manage cloud-based browser policies, extensions, and reporting

  • Ensure Browsers are following the security standards expected from Airbus commercials. Understanding of web security threats (Phishing, XSS, malicious extensions) and how to mitigate them via browser hardening

  • Diagnose complex enterprise level issues by analysing network headers, certificates and policy conflicts

  • Document technical processes clearly and communicate update schedules to non-technical stakeholders

  • Automate routine browser deployment and configuration tasks to increase overall team operational efficiency

Skills required to perform the above role. 

  • Basic technical command of browser architecture (including rendering engines, process isolation, and sandboxing) and the ability to orchestrate global configurations through cloud-based management and complex Active Directory GPO structures

  • Expertise in Enterprise management of browsers, including GPO management , Contemporary cloud management , Whitelisting on the browser and extension management .Advanced knowledge of Active Directory (AD), specifically GPO management and the intricacies of inheritance/precedence  

  • Proven expertise in managing the browser lifecycle, with a focus on translating security requirements into granular configurations via GPO enforcement strategies

  • Proficient in interpreting comprehensive reports that track and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), specifically focusing on SLA compliance, operational downtime reduction, and enterprise-wide browser version distribution

  • Moderate level of proficiency in ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident and request management

  • Stakeholder management: Coordinate between IT Security, Application Owners, and end-users, expertly navigating diverse perspectives

Success Metrics

Success will be measured in a variety of areas, including but not limited to

  • Consistently ensure the on-time delivery and quality of the projects

  • Maintenance of all service delivery KPIs within the agreed-upon SLA/OLA boundaries.

  • Successful implementation of innovative, cost-effective solutions for the deployment lifecycle.

  • Achievement of high qualitative scores from end-users and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

  • Chrome enterprise core management experience or know how 

  • Visualization of existing data reports

  • Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders of varied domains with different perspectives

  • Understanding of google admin console

  • Experience working on GPMC ( Group policy management console) and IIS (Internet information services)
