Job Summary:
IT Application Integration team is a dedicated cross-functional team providing application development and product support to all HKEX business functions, with a particular focus on business automation.Job Duties:
As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for gathering and analysing user requirements, converting them into functional requirements and managing the execution of projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and have a proven track record of delivering impactful business solutions collaboratively.
Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for software development teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that deliverables meet business needs.
Collaborate with software developers to ensure that solutions are designed and implemented according to specifications.
Assist in the testing and validation of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
Plan, execute, and monitor project activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and the team.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize impact on project timelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and/or software development.
Experience with low-code automation solutions, such as BluePrism and Power Platform.
Knowledge of Agile product development methodology and ways of working.
Experience in working with geographically diverse team.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills with proven ability to communicate with impact, drive consensus, influence relationships, and articulate complex information in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior management.
