What you'll be doing 

CIBC’s Product Management team is hiring a Business Analyst – Application Migration Co-op. This team is seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Business Analyst to support the migration to a new application. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring a smooth transition by documenting, executing, and validating user acceptance test scenarios, as well as supporting workflow and segmentation documentation. Your ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders will be key in delivering a secure, seamless, and user-focused collections experience.

  • This is an 8 month opportunity. 

How you'll succeed 

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to collections processes and workflows.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and document comprehensive UAT scenarios based on business requirements and system design. Execute UAT cases, record outcomes, and identify deficiencies or gaps. Coordinate and document retests for identified deficiencies, ensuring resolution and validation.

  • Workflow Documentation: Map and document workflows, including process steps, decision points, and escalation procedures.

  • Collaboration: Partner with product owners and project teams to ensure requirements are properly understood, implemented, and validated throughout migration.

  • Comprehensive Delivery Lifecycle Support: Support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from requirements through testing, defect triage, and implementation support.

  • Business Analyst Experience in Migration Projects: Previous experience as a Business Analyst in migration or system implementation projects, ideally within financial services.
