Business Accountability Senior Manager- Strategic Insights & Reporting

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Senior Manager to lead analytics and insight teams that support line‑of‑business partners in understanding performance, identifying opportunities, and driving growth. The role is responsible for delivering high‑impact reporting, trend analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling that informs strategy and business decisions.

This leader will work closely with senior stakeholders to convert complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, while ensuring appropriate governance over associated risk programs, processes, and controls. The role balances analytical rigor with business partnership, enabling scalable insights and effective risk management across the portfolio.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of specialists and managers to oversee moderate to highly complex activities associated with the development and implementation of business-specific programs, processes, and controls which identify, assess, monitor, measure, and mitigate risk
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and control strategies
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions, interpret and develop policies and procedures, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, initiatives, protocols, and deliverables that are moderate to high-risk within scope of responsibility
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
  • In collaboration with LOB partners, develop and deliver critical insights on portfolio performance and business trends
  • Conduct deep dive analysis forecasting and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Ensure integrity, consistency and reliability of data used in reporting
  • Support automation and self-service reporting capabilities
  • Engage and influence business heads, regulators, control management, risk, legal, and audit partners to successfully ensure appropriate management of business risk
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:  work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in cross-functional team collaboration in Financial Services with an emphasis in Consumer Lending or Personal Loans

  • Experience in operational excellence and continuous process improvement  

  • Experience in driving change at large organizations

  • Top tier Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience

  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements

  • Exceptional problem solving abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results 

  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels

  • Exposure to AI and/or machine learning models for conversion/balance deepening optimization.

  • Ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results 

Candidate will be expected to work onsite from one of the stated locations listed in the job posting on a hybrid schedule.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$159,000.00 - $279,000.00
