Position Summary

T1 Analysis Technology team is responsible for qualification and maintaining the quality of the FAB utilities and wafer environments in order to achieve the highest quality products. This individual will work as the Bulk Gas analysis engineer and own all equipment monitoring and incoming quality of gases supplied by GCS to Fab equipment.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Calibration of all analyzers, managing service contracts across 4 different OEM suppliers and collaborating with GCS (Gas and Chemical Systems) gas team on any manual monitoring requirements as well as during out of spec detections in monitored gas. 

  • Will be responsible for the rigging, installation, and commissioning of all analytical cabinets, ensuring that all utility areas are supplied, including the installation of sample lines as the designated engineer for bulk gas analysis equipment.

  • Coordinate on-site commissioning with the equipment vendor to ensure the proper commissioning of equipment and to be prepared for the qualification of supplied gases before the use of Fab tools.

  • Research new monitoring methods for bulk gas and implement them at Samsung to enhance the quality monitoring of supplied gases.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment. High level of initiative and desire to learn.

  • Reliable and punctual attendance required.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint to create documentation.

  • Prefer experience with analytical equipment.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
