The BSI Associate Director, Access Data Analytics & Access Solutions is responsible for leading the development, scaling, and operation of access-specific data products, analytics, and digital solutions that enable consistent, insight-driven access decision-making across International, Regional, and Country teams. The role owns a portfolio of access analytics solutions (dashboards, simulations, standardized analytics outputs, and AI-enabled tools) and acts as a bridge between access strategy, analytics, platforms, and execution, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, adopted, and value-adding at scale.

Lead the development of a data driven, AI enabled V&A organization by supporting advanced analytics capabilities, defining data strategy and embedding AI strategy and solutions. Drive transformation from Data – AI


 

Job Description

Major Accountabilities

Access Data Analytics  & Solution Ownership:

  • Lead design, development, and lifecycle management of access data and analytics solutions.

  • Translate IV&A priorities into scalable analytics products aligned with Access, Pricing, HEOR, and TA needs.

  • Lead IV&A Data strategy discussions e.g. EDM, DCam with relevant x functional stakeholders including BSI CLS teams

  • Lead AI support to x-functional IV&A team to progress IV&A AI strategy

  • Lead knowledge management for IV&A across HEOR, Pricing and TA Access

  • Ensure data integrity, governance & standardization

  • Develop dashboards and performance tracking systems

Data Stewardship, Quality & Governance:

  • Act as custodian of access data standards, definitions, and quality controls.

  • Define and execute V&A data strategy aligned with business priorities, lead Dcam, EDM processes for IV&A

  • Implement data governance frameworks (standards, ownership quality controls)

  • Oversee integration of data into AI use cases

  • Ensure reliable, auditable access data flows across platforms and analytics solutions.

  • Own SOPs and governance processes related to access data and analytics.

  • Support Pricing, HEOR teams on data analytics and data strategy, operations, knowledge management tasks

Platform Enablement, AI strategy support & Adoption:

  • Drive adoption of access analytics tools through training, enablement, and feedback loops.

  • Act as product owner for access analytics platforms e.g Access 360, prioritizing enhancements based on impact.

  • Responsible for KPI dashboards and platforms maintenance, in close collaboration with countries

  • Oversee development and adoption of access tools and platforms e.g. Access 360, pricing platforms, HTA platforms

  • Partner with BSI CLS AI team and data strategy teams to support data strategy, advanced analytics and AI use cases

  • Support digital transformation initiatives within Pricing, HEOR & Access

  • Support development and deployment of high impact AI use cases

  • Partner with IT and data science teams to scale AI products and platforms

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with TA Access, Pricing Analytics, Early Assets / BD&L Analytics, HEOR, and Operations teams.

  • Enable end-to-end access insights across the R-D-C continuum.

  • Act as a strategic business partner for TA access, Pricing and HEOR teams on data management, knowledge management & AI strategy

People Leadership & Capability Building:

  • Lead and develop a team of access data analysts and solution leads.

  • Drive performance management, skill development, and succession planning.

Contribution to IV&A Transformation:

  • Contribute to evolution of Access Excellence analytics, platforms, and AI roadmap.

  • Support IV&A leadership with data-driven insights to improve access outcomes.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in relevant discipline (including health economics, epidemiology, health services research, public health, or business management)

  • 8–12 years’ experience in analytics, data, digital solutions, or access-related roles.

  • Proven experience in data strategy, analytics or building or running analytics products or platforms.

  • AI/ML concepts and applications knowledge

  • Familiarity with generative AI and NLP use cases

  • Track record of delivering data driven transformation initiatives

  • Demonstrated people-management experience.

  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations

  • Proven leadership (people management and project management)
