Description:
We are seeking an experienced insurance professional and people leader to join our Affinity team at Marsh. This role is available in our Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role which offers the opportunity to work three days in the office and two days at home.
In this key leadership role, you will provide guidance and support to a team of 5 Account Executives who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our portfolio of Professions and Allied Health clients. You will also manage several high value clients, with a focus on strategic relationship management.
We will count on you to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Manage workflow approvals, development plans and technical oversight.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the team.
- Drive operational excellence and consistent client delivery.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge across Financial Lines (Professional Indemnity, D&O), General Lines, Schemes and Binders.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent).
- Prior experience in a senior broking or leadership role within financial lines insurance.
- Strong knowledge of General & Financial Lines products.
- Knowledge and experience of Schemes and Binders would be highly regarded.
- A genuine interest in mentoring junior brokers
- The ability to balance operational leadership with client oversight.
