Broker Services Associate - 12 months secondment

We are seeking a Broker Services Associate to join our Broker Services team on a 12month fixed‑term contract. This role plays a critical frontline position in supporting accredited mortgage brokers, delivering timely, accurate and high‑quality service across residential lending and associated workflows.

You will be instrumental in enabling brokers to do business efficiently with the bank by resolving enquiries, progressing applications, and supporting retention and portfolio outcomes within approved policies, authorities and service standards.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a first point of contact for accredited mortgage brokers via phone, email and workflow queues
  • Respond to broker enquiries relating to application status, documentation, policy and process guidance
  • Progress broker‑initiated requests and lending workflows within agreed service level agreements
  • Support broker‑led retention, repricing and discharge‑related requests in line with delegation and policy
  • Maintain accurate records, apply decisions correctly and escalate exceptions through defined pathways

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in broker services, home lending operations or a similar frontline banking role
  • Solid understanding of residential lending processes and broker‑originated applications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, professional service to brokers
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality, risk and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage volume, prioritise effectively and perform in a fast‑paced environment
