Welcome Centre and Campus Visit Program
Reporting to the Recruitment Officer, Campus Visitors and Community Outreach, the Brock Ambassador (Campus Tour Guide) will play an integral role within the department of Student Recruitment’s Welcome Centre and Campus Visit program. The Brock Ambassador will be responsible for welcoming prospective students and their supporters to Brock University, as well as other guests or members of the University community. Ambassadors will be prepared to provide exceptional customer service and information regarding the Brock experience, general wayfinding, and campus resources at Brock’s main campus.
The Campus Visit program is instrumental in the post-secondary decision-making process. Brock Ambassadors enthusiastically communicate with prospective students and guests to ensure that the advantages of pursuing their post-secondary education at Brock are clearly demonstrated. This is a significant role as there is a growing importance and demand for campus visits. It is essential that guests experience a positive on-campus visit and that the Brock Ambassador is equipped to offer a comprehensive tour and convey pertinent information effectively.
About the Role
The Brock Ambassador will welcome guests and conduct in-person and virtual campus tours of main campus, sharing their love of Brock and introducing prospective students and their families to campus life. They will collaborate with other departments regularly to ensure accurate information and adequate support is available to provide a complete and meaningful campus experience.
The Brock Ambassador will represent Brock and the Student Recruitment team at various recruitment events including: Fall Preview (November 2026); Open House (April 2027); and participate in other undergraduate recruitment initiatives when necessary.
