  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to present optimized solution options.
  • Architect end-to-end broadcast systems including playout automation, Media Asset Management (MAM), content processing, cloud broadcast environments, transport technologies, and multi-site architectures.
  • Partner closely with sales, engineering, finance, product, and operations to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
  • Support post-sales design transition with architectural oversight and continuity.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate platform capabilities, roadmaps, and integration suitability.
  • Influence the design of next-generation platforms and long-term technology strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in broadcast master control, origination, and distribution.
  • Expert knowledge of broadcast specifications, standards, and operational practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce conceptual diagrams, workflow models, ROMs, BOMs, and full cost and financial models.
  • Strong pre-sales architecture experience with polished customer-facing communication skills.
  • Advanced understanding of playout automation, MAM, content processing/transformation, Quality Control (QC) workflows, and Disaster Recovery (DR) designs.
  • Expertise with cloud and virtualized broadcast ecosystems.
  • General networking knowledge including IP transport fundamentals.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable architectural designs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across sales, engineering, finance, operations, and product.
  • Track record of architecting or influencing next-generation broadcast platforms.
  • Strong industry vendor knowledge and established relationships.
  • Experience with both Serial Digital Interface (SDI)/Asynchronous Serial Interface (ASI) and modern IP-based media systems.

What Success Looks Like
