Your Opportunity, Your Team
- Reporting to the Manager, Broadcast IT, you will provide administration for the QVC US broadcast IT infrastructure and support end-users. You will provide root cause analysis of escalated and complex problems related to broadcast IT systems and impart technical expertise of established IT standards for the team.
Where You'll Work
- This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, PA location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- This role is included in an on-call rotation schedule.
What You'll Do
- Provide 2nd tier technical support for the QVC US broadcast IT systems, including after-hours support
- Be accountable for equipment specifications, system design, and installation
- Oversee project integrations and ensure all tasks are completed
- Test all broadcast IT infrastructure's hardware and software
- Lead setup and configuration of broadcast IT systems
- Be a subject matter expert for broadcast IT disaster recovery implementation, and testing
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study. Equivalent work experience in a related field may be considered
- IT certification recommended (CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMWare)
- 4+ years of experience working in a broadcasting IT multi-tiered environment
- Experience with Broadcast Television systems administration required, including experience with SMPTE-2110
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or other broadcast line drawing software required
- Installing, monitoring and troubleshooting computer servers and applications is preferred
- Experience in Windows Admin, Network Admin, DB Admin and server technologies preferred
