Lead the development and execution of sport- and culture-forward media partnerships that extend beyond standard RFP responses.
Identify and evaluate publishers, platforms, leagues, and emerging media opportunities aligned with Nike’s audience and brand objectives.
Negotiate and structure custom media partnerships that deliver both cultural relevance and measurable performance.
Translate strategic concepts into executable plans, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and operational clarity.
Own day-to-day oversight of integrated campaigns across:
Direct Publisher Partnerships
Display
Video/CTV
Audio
Emerging sports platforms
Partner closely with programmatic team members to ensure alignment between direct buys and automated investment strategies.
Ensure seamless coordination between planning, activation, trafficking, reporting, and billing across channels.
Monitor performance and provide optimization recommendations grounded in data and business priorities.
Maintain a strong understanding of the programmatic landscape — including marketplace structures, targeting capabilities, measurement frameworks, and financial models — to guide agnostic investment decisions across direct and biddable channels.
Evaluate how direct partnerships and programmatic strategies complement one another to maximize reach, efficiency, and impact.
Guide investment decisions with a clear understanding of budget allocation, yield, and performance tradeoffs.
Maintain an informed perspective on the evolving sports media ecosystem, including:
Live sports distribution and streaming trends
Emerging leagues and athlete-led platforms
Gen Z and Gen Alpha platform behaviors
Apply these insights to strengthen partnership recommendations and campaign positioning.
Lead day-to-day client engagement for Nike by delivering strong, insight-driven recommendations and ensuring flawless execution of media partnerships from negotiation through activation and reporting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and publishers.
Guide clients through partnership evaluations, investment tradeoffs, and performance implications.
Ensure partnerships deliver against agreed-upon KPIs and brand objectives.
Translate campaign data into actionable insights and clear storytelling for clients.
Provide regular reporting and post-campaign analyses with strategic recommendations.
Identify trends and learning opportunities to inform future media strategies.
Mentor junior team members, supporting their development in partnership strategy and campaign management.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence.
Support process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across partnership workflows.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
6–8 years of experience in digital media, with a focus on campaign management and media partnerships.
Strong experience managing direct publisher partnerships and integrated media programs.
General working knowledge of programmatic ecosystems and how biddable strategies integrate into broader media plans (not hands on keyboard experience).
Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Experience negotiating media partnerships and managing partner relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing presentation experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of business and financial principles related to media investment.
Experience working on sport-focused or culturally driven brands, and/or sports/youth oriented partnerships.
Familiarity with live sports media, streaming distribution, or NIL ecosystems.
Experience managing custom content or integrated sponsorship activations.
