We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Brand Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Department in Langley, BC.  

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, you will be responsible you will be responsible for building a connection between shoppers and Save-On-Foods, and taking the brand strategy and ensuring its representation in all touchpoints and campaigns.  In this role, you will work closely with internal and external creative and production teams, sponsorships, media agencies and merchandising teams to deliver activations that improve the shopper’s relationship with the brand. 


You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and agency partners to develop integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen brand presence and drive customer engagement across retail banners.
  • Working closely with internal departments to support the planning and execution of promotional strategies including coordinating project teams, contributing to meetings, and consolidating feedback to ensure alignment.
  • Partnering with internal and external creative teams to develop effective omnichannel campaigns, including digital, instore, print, and social that inspire customer action and support both recurring and new brand initiatives.
  • Briefing media agencies on multi-channel plans (online and offline), assessing the recommendations, and supporting digital teams with setup and trafficking.
  • Gathering and integrating feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners to help shape new marketing concepts, programs, and banner-specific brand strategies.
  • Managing and executing day-to-day marketing activities, including brand plan support, media planning coordination, creative development, consumer promotions, project coordination and merchandising needs for retail banners.
  • Supporting store level execution by working with Store Managers and regional teams to ensure consistent implementation of displays, campaigns, and localized marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting with post campaign analysis to measure effectiveness, evaluating results against objectives, and recommending improvements for future promotional programs.
  • Supporting category teams and translating brand strategy into clear and consistent briefs aligned with seasonal and Go-To-Market priorities. 

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or an MBA is considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a marketing role in a client or agency setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software systems.
  • The ability to travel to retail stores within Western Canada on an as-needed basis.
  • Experience in retail or ecommerce marketing with an understanding of the digital customer journey is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$66,292.00 - $82,865.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
