Brand Marketing Lead (BML) Breast Cancer Portfolio
ROLE SUMMARY
This role will lead on the breast cancer portfolio within the ICO Breast Cancer Franchise and play a critical part in shaping success across International markets. The role will support Tukysa (inline indication and 1L expansion), and commercial preparation for pipeline products KAT6 2L and CDK4 1L.
As Brand Marketing Lead, you will act as the brand custodian for ICO, accountable for translating strategy into high‑impact execution that drives growth, strengthens competitive advantage, and expands patient access to our medicines and vaccines.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as the ICO regional lead for Tukysa (inline indication and 1L expansion), leading Growth Plan delivery and acting as the regional catalyst to deliver brand‑specific initiatives in close collaboration with Markets, Regional & Global cross functional team, CoLab and CMO.
Represent ICO at global level as the primary point of contact and an active member of global governance table, ensuring strong pull‑through of global strategy while clearly advocating for ICO needs.
Shape and execute brand strategy across ICO through the development of best‑in‑class brand plans, clear brand and customer performance metrics, and high‑quality customer content.
Own accountability for brand performance, ensuring disciplined execution, measurable impact, and continuous optimization.
Serve as the ICO regional lead for breast cancer pipeline assets of KAT6 and CDK4, including commercial preparation (market development, launch planning) and Operating Plan (analytics and forecasting), working in close collaboration with Global cross functional teams and markets.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Global & Regional Brand Leadership:
Shape and cascade global strategy and content across ICO; act as the primary ICO point of contact for Global Brand Teams and provide regional insights to inform global strategy and content development.
Cross‑Functional & Team Leadership:
Lead regional governance table and in close collaboration with countries, enabling functions, CMO, and CoLab to deliver aligned and impactful plans.
Act as a trusted partner and sounding board for local brand teams (e.g., ACLs, CBLs).
Strategy Execution & Insight Generation
Gather and synthesize country insights to ensure excellence in marketing planning and execution across markets.
Guide content adaptation, creation, and customer‑journey development in partnership with Customer Content Managers.
Identify, codify, and scale best practices to optimize brand impact across the region.
Performance, Planning & Financial Stewardship
Provide mid‑ and long‑term portfolio outlooks, developing growth and efficiency plans to inform LRF discussions and strategic investment decisions.
Support the Commercial Lead in coordinating annual LE/OP and monthly performance processes, ensuring a holistic ICO view through tracking of financial and non‑financial KPIs.
Work with IIS to deliver patient and forecast models for markets to support planning and decision‑making.
Executive Communication
Craft clear, compelling executive narratives that translate complex data and strategy into impactful, decision‑ready messages.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Regional/Global Marketing Teams with demonstrated capability of working across countries and cultures.
Demonstrated successful track record in working closely with virtual teams
Extensive and multiple years of Marketing experience.
Broad knowledge and experience of the relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
Commercial/portfolio management experience, including accountability for revenues/operating expenses (P&L), asset allocation, value and cost driver decisions.
Exceptional ability to manage varying priorities and stakeholders.
Senior Level executive presence and emotional intelligence, with a track record of influencing beyond direct areas of accountability.
Will need to demonstrate flexibility to work to IDM/Global time zones as necessary.
