Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As Enterprise Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will support and administer project planning for the RBC Brand Sponsorship team, primarily focused on RBCxMusic and RBC Amphitheatre, with opportunity to support Golf, Olympics, TIFF, RBC Race for the Kids, and more. 

You will liaise with internal partners, external properties and agencies, and industry organizations to help with the execution of campaigns, sponsorship events and project initiatives.

What will you do?  

  • Project Management: Support the project management and administration of creative assets for advertising campaigns and sponsorship events; assist in ideation; own project management elements.
  • Key Initiatives Coordination: Coordinate key initiatives, including brand activations, social media campaigns, client hosting events, and ticket management, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with RBC's brand and business strategy, and provide on-site support for Enterprise Brand sponsorship events.
  • Stakeholder Communications & Vendor Management: Manage communications and liaise with both internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors to ensure delivery and execution of contractual sponsorship assets and campaigns.
  • Campaign Delivery & Analysis: Support campaign delivery and analysis, including asset trafficking, monitoring and documenting performance metrics, etc.
  • Presentation Development: Develop visually engaging and informative presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting sponsorship activations, campaign performance, and key initiatives.
  • Budget/Resource Management: Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation for campaigns and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership on campaign performance and initiative progress.
  • Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of campaign assets, contracts, and performance data for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Communications, Finance) to align sponsorship activities with corporate objectives.
  • Compliance & Brand Guidelines: Ensure all sponsorship assets and campaigns comply with RBC brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Industry Insights: Proactively gather and synthesize industry reports to develop and present strategic insights via weekly and monthly trend reports.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Assist with various adhoc requests and projects as needed to support the broader Enterprise Brand team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have 

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or event coordination, preferably within the sponsorship marketing landscape or financial services industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to execute with excellence and acute attention to detail, particularly with asset management, compliance, and brand consistency.
  • Highly effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and plan effectively across multiple concurrent sponsorship initiatives and events.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to navigate cross-functional teams; comfortable working with data and performance metrics.
  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities; able to proactively identify challenges, adapt to changing priorities, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for brand marketing, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives.

Nice-to-have

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Agency and vendor management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple external partnerships simultaneously.
  • Foundational digital marketing experience, including social media campaign management and analytics.
  • Experience in sponsorships and strategic partnerships, particularly within brand activation or community engagement contexts.
  • Experience developing or presenting reports and insights to senior leadership or external stakeholders.
  • Passion for music and live entertainment industries, with familiarity of key players, trends, and fan engagement strategies.
