About The Position | Major goals and objectives and location requirements
People Inc. is seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator to join our Beauty & Style Brand Marketing team, contributing to the brand and category strategy. In close partnership with Sales teams across the organization, you will help manage the pre-sale process and play a strategic role in driving revenue growth with advertising partners. You will assist the Director, working closely with our editorial teams (InStyle, Byrdie, Brides, SHAPE) developing editorial tentpoles & GTM strategy. This position reports to the Director, Marketing for Beauty and Style.
Hybrid 3x a week- (NYC)
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
About The Team | Beauty & Style Brand Marketing
The Beauty and Style brand marketing team oversees Go To Market strategy for InStyle and Byrdie. The team works closely with editorial to develop off-the-shelf programming, partnership opportunities for tentpole franchises, and cross-portfolio collaborations.
About The Positions Contributions:
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
40% Proposal Process: Assist on proactive and RFP responses, creating smart, strategic ideas for advertising
partners looking to work with InStyle, Byrdie, Brides, or SHAPE
35% Build Materials: Support the marketing team in developing compelling brand-specific sales materials as
well as off-the-shelf marketing programs for relevant advertisers
25% Process Management: Help coordinate special projects and team organization tracks to help keep the
team organized day to day.
All other duties as assigned.
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
Experience:
1-2 years related experience, ideally in media, social media marketing, or fashion/beauty brand work.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint)
Strong knowledge of Social Media and beauty/style industry trends
You’re an excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
You are a true self-starter with a desire to learn and take on new challenges – provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward
Must be highly organized with ability to prioritize
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Pay Range
Hourly: New York: $28.00 - $33.65The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
