Meaningful Work From Day One
Reporting to the Marketing Manager for France and Belgium for Emerging Prestige Brands, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for the premium bourbon brand Woodford Reserve. As an expert in brand strategies, with in-depth knowledge of the super-premium spirits markets and their key players, you will bring your expertise to the brands and actively promote these strategies within the company. You will be responsible for the excellent implementation of initiatives while influencing Global and Regional teams. You will define, allocate, and manage marketing budgets within the dedicated budget.
The working style of this role is 4 days a week in the office with Fridays at home.
What You Can Expect
Regularly analyze the competitive environment and emerging market trends to implement corrective measures and action plans, paying attention to new market trends that would help develop its brands, in cooperation with Brand and Business Insights
Define brand objectives and KPIs in accordance with global guidelines
Develop and implement brand plans - ATL and BTL, coordinate and plan actions with various local and/or international teams.
Communicate this strategy internally and involve teams (particularly sales).
Collaborate with all stakeholders - Trade Marketing, Brand Ambassador, Brand & Business Insights, Sales, Supply, Purchasing, Finance, etc.
Coordinate the brand approach and activations.
Ensure proper management and coordination of external agencies.
Be the ambassador for your brands internally and externally and represent France at international meetings.
Manage the financial components of the brands (P&L) as well as the A&P budget.
Inform and influence the French management team.
What You Bring to the Table
Proficiency in market analysis (Nielsen).
Digital expert.
Fluency in French and English required.
Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to interact with teams in France, Europe, and globally.
Independent and curious, at the forefront of trends.
Creative, agile, comfortable navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
Versatile: ability to perform various tasks and adapt to situations, with a “can-do” attitude.
Collaborative: enjoys working in a non-hierarchical team, proposing solutions (a solution-oriented mindset is essential) and influencing projects that he/she is not leading.
Concise and rigorous, analytical, reliable, and organized.
Passion for brands and a genuine appreciation and understanding of luxury/prestige and experiential marketing.
At least 3 years of experience (including internships) in Brand Marketing, Operational Marketing, Trade Marketing for premium consumer products, ideally in spirits. Experience in luxury goods is a plus.
