Reporting to the BU Ass. Director - Cardiometabolic Health, the Brand Manager, Orforglipron will be accountable for ensuring pre-launch milestones are being met to enable a successful launch of Orforglipron in chronic weight management (CWM) and Diabetes. You will play a critical role in developing the launch and post-launch plans; from thought leader engagement, environmental shaping, Go to Market strategy, and other deliverables related to the launch and post-launch. You will work closely with IBU, HUB and local cross functional teams to lead the development and implementation of our launch plans, brand strategy and tactics.
The Brand Manager, Orforglipron is specifically responsible for:
Driving the strategic development and implementation of Orforglipron in CWM and Diabetes.
Informing and supporting our continued transformation agenda and institutionalizing commercial shifts necessary to successfully deliver on the CWM and Diabetes strategy.
Gaining deep customer insights across patients, payers and HCPs to inform our brand strategy in a rapidly evolving market.
Create and execute a plan to engage patients and HCPs. This includes developing marketing strategies and working with teams to align priorities and ensure successful implementation that drives growth
Leadership of the customer planning process and operational plan process
Partnering with the Global, IBU and HUB teams to ensure alignment on strategy and efficient use of common resources.
Partnering with Mounjaro team o ensure alignment on strategy and efficient use of common resources.
Driving and leading the launch preparation partnership process in collaboration with the cross functional local and global teams.
Managing of the overall commercial brand budget for pre and post launch.
Driving innovative thinking across the cross functional team for a bold and comprehensive pre and post launch OCE plans
Operates with high integrity, complies with Lilly policies and procedures, external legal and compliance requirements
Willing to spend time meeting customers develop external relationships
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
University degree.
MBA
3 years of marketing related experience required
Experience with brand management
Omnichannel marketing experience.
Teamwork and leadership – Proven Ability to partner with and engage others towards a common goal
Strong track record of marketing, medical and/or sales successes and strong organizational skills
Experimentation and Risk Taking – Proven track record of pursuing non-conventional ways to meet customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
Learning agility and high comfort with change in a high-stake environment.
Project Management – Ability to manage detailed, complex projects.
Business acumen skills – budget management, strategic trade-offs, development and monitoring of lead measures.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills and AI
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES
Consumer marketing experience an asset.
TA experience: Understanding metabolic disorders and the competitive environment in CWM and Diabetes an asset.
