Job Title: Brand Manager, Hypertension – New Launch
Introduction to role:
This Brand Manager role focuses on a high-profile hypertension launch, taking responsibility for shaping and executing the brand strategy from early stages through to full market impact. The position leads the development and implementation of strategic plans, manages publications and conventions, oversees budgets, and positions the brand competitively across key markets and channels. Working in close partnership with cross-functional teams, the role turns scientific innovation into meaningful value for patients and healthcare systems.
Accountabilities:
Lead the end-to-end launch strategy and execution for a new hypertension brand, ensuring clear differentiation and strong market entry.
Identify and size market opportunities, customer segments and channels, translating insights into focused brand plans and campaigns.
Own the annual brand planning process, including forecasting, resource allocation and performance tracking against agreed KPIs.
Drive the development of compelling value propositions and messaging grounded in robust clinical and real-world evidence.
Plan and deliver congress, symposium and publication strategies that build scientific leadership and brand credibility.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access and other functions to ensure aligned, integrated launch execution.
Use consumer and customer research to guide decision-making, refine positioning and optimize promotional mix.
Monitor competitive activity, market trends and policy changes, rapidly adjusting tactics to maintain advantage.
Manage external agencies and partners to deliver impactful creative, digital and omnichannel initiatives on time and on budget.
Champion compliant, ethical marketing practices in line with internal policies and local regulations.
Track brand performance, generate insights from data, and recommend actions to improve impact and return on investment.
Contribute to cross-portfolio initiatives that connect early development thinking with downstream commercial strategies.
