About the Role

Reporting to the Associate Director, Cardiometabolic Health (CMH), this role owns two deeply connected responsibilities that together shape how Lilly Portugal engages with the healthcare ecosystem in cardiometabolic and obesity.

You will own CMH pharmacy strategy while simultaneously leading the digital and omnichannel HCP strategy across all CMH brands, connecting doctors, pharmacists, and nurses through coordinated, patient-journey oriented activation. Both responsibilities are pursued as one integrated effort, with field teams, IBU, HUB, and cross-functional partners as key collaborators.

The goals is better patient access and continuity of care across the cardiometabolic pathway with pharmacy and digital as two levers of the same strategy.

What You Will Own

  • Own the pharmacy channel strategy for CMH
  • Lead the digital and omnichannel HCP strategy across all CMH brands, with doctors, pharmacists, and nurses through coordinated field and digital touchpoints.
  • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with pharmacists and other care partners, combining relationship-led and digitally-enabled engagement approaches.
  • Design customer journeys that meaningfully connect HCPs.
  • Generate and apply HCP insights across all audiences to continuously optimize engagement effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with Medical, Sales, Market Access, Digital, and Legal & Compliance for aligned, compliant implementation.
  • Manage assigned budgets and initiatives with clear lead measures, performance tracking, and strategic trade-offs.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

  • University degree and minimum 3 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience in HCP engagement and stakeholder management — credible across pharmacy, medical, and nursing audiences.
  • Hands-on omnichannel experience: someone who has designed customer journeys, not just operated tools.
  • Strong cross-functional track record — concrete examples of aligning Medical, Sales, Access, and Legal toward a common goal.
  • Relationship-builder as much as a campaign executor — essential for pharmacy engagement.
  • Project management rigor and business acumen — budget ownership, performance monitoring, complex initiative management.
  • Learning agility and comfort in high-stakes, fast-changing environments.
  • Proficient in digital tools and AI.
  • Portuguese and English fluency.

Strong advantages

  • Direct experience in retail pharmacy or HCP-facing pharma roles.
  • Experience in consumer healthcare, FMCG is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of Obesity, Cardiometabolic Health, or Diabetes patient pathways.
  • Experience designing or managing digital ecosystem or care partner models.
  • Based in Lisbon.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable building a pharmacist engagement strategy and designing an omnichannel HCP journey. You think from the patient backwards, you build trust with diverse HCP audiences, and you know how to make digital and human touchpoints work together.
