10Beauty is looking for a licensed Cosmetologist or Nail Technician to be the vital human connection for our official debut at Ulta Beauty in downtown New York City.
This is your opportunity to step into a professional role, becoming the expert and a trusted voice for the 10Beauty brand. You will be working at our robotic machine gently guiding customers through the seamless experience of their first robotic manicure.
We are building a community! Your specialized artistry and ability to foster authentic connections with every customer will be crucial to the growth of the 10Beauty brand and the revolutionary future we will build together.
This role is about mentorship, connection, and ensuring every customer feels supported as they discover the future of nails.
● Become the Trusted Expert: Deeply understand the 10Beauty machine, our innovative nail pods, and the accompanying app, so you can confidently guide customers through every step.
● Refine the Experience: Apply your specialized licensing to offer careful touch-ups or fixes, ensuring the customer's finished manicure is flawless and beautiful.
● Foster Authentic Connection: Gently and proactively engage with customers, sharing the inspiring story of 10Beauty and the benefits this technology brings to their self-care routine.
● Bridge Artistry and Engineering: Seamlessly communicate with our 10Beauty engineers via digital channels to share on-the-ground insights and ensure the machine is operating smoothly.
● Showcase the Ease: Provide helpful, hands-on demonstrations of the machine, making its unique features and ease of use clear and inviting.
● Support Seamlessness: Answer questions, handle simple troubleshooting with help from our engineers, so the machine or app run smoothly.
● Gently Invite Discovery: Enthusiastically invite customers to try the machine and experience the results for themselves.
● Embody Our Values: Maintain a professional, positive, and genuinely supportive presence that reflects the aspirational 10Beauty brand.
● Share Valuable Insights: Act as a key listener, gathering customer feedback and sharing thoughtful input directly with the 10Beauty team to support continuous product refinement and innovation.
● Curate the Space: Ensure the machine area is clean, organized, and welcoming, creating a peaceful and pleasant customer environment.

● Foundational Expertise: 0–2 years of experience in cosmetology or, preferably, specialized nail-related work.
● Licensed Artistry: You are a Licensed Nail Technician or a Licensed Cosmetologist with relevant experience working with nails.
● Reliable Commitment: You are dependable, punctual, and consistently ready to represent 10Beauty's positive vision.
● Flexible Schedule: The ability to work retail hours, including necessary weekends and holidays, to support our launch and meet customer demand.
