What you will be responsible for
As Branch Head, you will
Core functional responsibilities and accountabilities
Establishing and chairing a Branch Leadership Team to drive consistent governance, risk management, and cultural standards across the Branch
Promoting strong cross-business collaboration and alignment across all Branch business lines and corporate functions
Driving a Branch-wide culture of risk awareness, control discipline, and regulatory compliance
Building and maintaining effective relationships with local regulators and authorities, and owning the Branch regulatory engagement agenda
Ensuring timely execution and oversight of all remediation plans agreed with local regulators
Strengthening employee engagement and fostering an inclusive, high‑integrity Branch culture aligned to enterprise values
Acting as the senior Branch representative for internal and external governance matters, including participation in regulatory and industry forums as appropriate
Providing input into key people and leadership decisions impacting the Branch, including succession planning and senior talent development
Governance and Reporting
Branch Leadership Team members maintain matrix reporting lines to the Branch Head
The Branch Head provides input into senior individual contributor and leadership decisions where they impact the Branch
The role reports directly to the Regional Head, with a dual reporting line to the relevant business line where applicable
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Senior leader with demonstrated ability to lead across multiple businesses and functions within a Branch or similar regulated environment
Strong experience in branch governance, risk management, regulatory engagement, and control frameworks
Proven enterprise mindset, consistently placing firm‑wide interests ahead of individual business or functional priorities
Credible executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
Deep understanding of multi‑business operating models and Branch control environments
Proven track record of building trusted, collaborative relationships with regulators, internal partners, and external stakeholders
