We are seeking an experienced Boomi Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions using the Boomi platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in REST API development, EDI integrations, and enterprise system connectivity involving SAP, Salesforce, and other business-critical applications. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience across the integration lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy integration processes and workflows using Boomi AtomSphere.
- Build and manage REST and SOAP APIs leveraging Boomi’s API Management framework.
- Develop and support EDI integrations for B2B transactions with partners and internal systems.
- Integrate Boomi with SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems using available connectors and custom scripts.
- Ensure smooth data flow, transformation, and orchestration across business applications.
- Design and maintain error handling, logging, and monitoring frameworks for integrations.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability of existing Boomi integrations.
- Participate in code reviews, deployment planning, and production support activities.
- Stay up to date with Boomi platform updates, integration best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Boomi AtomSphere design and development.
- Proven experience in building REST APIs and managing them using Boomi API Management.
- Strong experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and B2B integration frameworks.
- Experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, and other ERP/CRM systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP integration concepts and data models.
- Proficiency in XML, JSON, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and data mapping/transformation.
- Strong understanding of dataflow management, error handling, and integration lifecycle.
- Experience in B2B/EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of EDI and SAP ECC, S/4 HANA highly desirable.
- SAP experience required to support and set up EDI configurations (Set up output types, partner profiles, port definitions, and IDoc processing for EDI messages)
- Understanding of order-to-cash SAP business processes.
- Boomi Developer or Architect certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in B2B domain is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of partner onboarding, data exchange protocols, and compliance processes.
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid integration architectures.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
- Exposure to security standards like OAuth 2.0, SSL, and SAML.
