Body Shop Estimator - Hall Collision Center

Job Description

Hall Toyota in Virginia Beach is hiring a Body Shop Estimator for our busy collision team. We are looking for someone with experience who can add immediate value to our team. Pay based on experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, no Saturdays.

Summary:
As an Estimator you will examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage. You will be responsible for estimating the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.

Essential Duties:
- Reviewing repair cost estimates with a body shop manager or foreman
- Determining feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts
- Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimate and recommendations
- Estimating cost of repainting, converting to special purposed, or customizing undamaged vehicles
- Writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Presenting information and responding to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license, with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years and NO major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) last 3 years
- Associates degree or bachelor's degree, preferred
- Confidence to handle high volume estimator needs under limited availability
- Knowledge in Estimating CCC Pathways / CCC One, preferred
- Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work in a team
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
