Shifts Available: Day Shift and Evening Shift

Overview:

Sea Ray is seeking motivated individuals to join our boat manufacturing teams on both day and evening shifts. This broad Boat Builder posting is used to capture applicants attending our onsite job fair. Based on your skills, interests, availability, and experience, you may be considered for multiple roles across our manufacturing operations.

Our Boat Builders play a hands‑on role in crafting premium boats that deliver unforgettable experiences on the water. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your background, interests, and shift availability, you may work in one or more of the following areas:

  • Boat assembly, fitting, and installation

  • Fiberglass lamination, gel coat application, or composite work

  • Upholstery or sewing, including interior components

  • Electrical assembly and wiring

  • Woodworking or cabinetry

  • Quality inspection and finish repair

  • Hole cutting, bracing, or structural support

  • Shipping, loading, or material handling

  • Mold maintenance or production support

Assignments and shifts will be determined based on operational needs and discussions held during or after the job fair.

Shifts Available

  • Day Shift – Standard production hours (10-hour shifts)

  • Evening Shift – Afternoon/evening production hours (10-hour shifts)

Evening shift positions are eligible for a shift differential, based on role and schedule. Details will be discussed during the selection and placement process.

What We’re Looking For

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.  We welcome applicants with a wide range of experience—from entry‑level candidates to skilled trades professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred for most roles)

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

  • Willingness to work day or evening shift

  • Commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and teamwork

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Preferred Qualifications (vary by role):

  • Manufacturing, marine, automotive, construction, or skilled‑trade experience

  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, or machinery

  • Ability to read work instructions, prints, or schedules

  • Forklift or material‑handling experience

  • Electrical, upholstery, fiberglass, sewing, carpentry, or quality inspection experience

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures

  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Overtime or extended hours may be required based on production schedules (daily and/or Friday overtime)

  • May include working in non‑climate‑controlled areas

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated hiring range for our manufacturing positions is $20.50 to $24.05. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including the specific role, shift, job-related knowledge/skills, and relevant experience, and will be discussed after application and job-fair follow-up.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
