$82,000–$110,000 | 25+ PTO days | BCBA bonus program | Interdisciplinary pediatric clinic
Not all therapy companies are built the same. Most ABA providers will hand you a title and a caseload. At North Shore Pediatric Therapy, you get something different: a clinical environment where your work is backed by a full interdisciplinary team, your recommendations carry weight, and children and families are seeing meaningful progress. We've been part of the Chicagoland community for over 25 years, and we're part of the Gracent network serving families across Illinois and Texas.
We're not growing fast to grow. We're growing because families need a provider they can trust, and clinicians deserve a place they can stay.
Here's what makes us different:
- True Interdisciplinary Care: BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, PTs, neuropsychologists, and mental health providers work side by side, often co-treating, so kids get support that reflects the whole picture of who they are.
- Individualized Hours, No Preset Buckets: We don't issue blanket 40-hour recommendations. Treatment hours are determined by diagnostic severity, adaptive functioning, age, other therapies in the child's week, and family quality of life. The goal isn't more therapy, it's the right amount of therapy. You'll be proud to explain your rationale.
- A Real Path to Leadership: Many of our Clinical Directors started as BCBAs here. If leadership is where you're heading, we provide the mentorship, visibility, and opportunity to get there.
- CASP Member & BACB ACE Provider: We are a CASP-member organization and a BACB Authorized Continuing Education provider. Free in-house CEUs are part of the job.
BCBAs Thrive at North Shore Pediatric Therapy
We're looking for a BCBA who is genuinely curious, takes ownership, and finds meaning in the details — the data, the family conversations, the moments when something finally clicks for a kid.
You're a strong fit if you are:
- A Clinical Thinker: You use data to tell a story, spot trends before they become problems, and adjust programs with confidence.
- A Coach at Heart: You find genuine satisfaction in watching your RBTs grow, and you model the behavior you want to see.
- A Collaborator by Nature: You see other disciplines as partners, not parallel tracks, and you want the family to experience one cohesive plan.
- A Communicator Families Trust: You can take complex clinical language and make it clear, supportive, and actionable for the parents in front of you.
What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for RBTs, with a focus on coaching and skill-building.
- Write and monitor individualized treatment plans grounded in assent-based, ethical ABA practice.
- Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers to align goals and deliver care that reflects the whole child.
- Partner with families, translating clinical data into plain-language guidance that parents can use at home.
- Ensure documentation and progress reports meet high clinical standards, reviewed every 6 months with families.
- Build a team culture where feedback is welcomed, creativity is encouraged, and every session is a chance to do better.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $82,000 – $110,000 annually
- BCBA Bonus Program: Earn $50 for every billable hour over 30 per week, paid bi-weekly. A clinician averaging 35 billable hours earns approximately $9,100 in additional annual bonus.
- PTO and Time Off: 25+ days off in your first year (PTO + 7 paid holidays)
- Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision for you and your family
- Retirement: 401(k) with up to 4% company match
- Professional Development: $500 annual stipend + free in-house CEUs
- Setting: Full-time, in-person, clinic-based
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, current and in good standing.
- Licensed in the State of Illinois (or eligible and actively pursuing licensure).
- Experience delivering ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with families, RBTs, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to perform essential physical functions, including sitting, standing, bending, and occasional lifting up to 45 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available.
Candidates commuting from Libertyville, Mundelein, Waukegan, Gurnee, Deerfield, and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply.
