EXPERIENCE:
1. Three to six months of previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred.

1. Enhance the patient experience by responding promptly and courteously to call lights, offering comfort items, and maintaining a calm, caring presence.
2. Assist patients with non-clinical needs such as meal tray setup, fresh water, blankets, and repositioning of personal items for convenience.
3. Participate in hourly rounding with the care team to proactively address comfort, safety, and environmental needs.
4. Observe and report any changes in patient condition or environment to licensed nursing staff.
5. Escort patients or visitors within the hospital when appropriate, ensuring a positive and safe experience.
6. Ensure PPE stations are stocked per infection control protocols.
7. Support unit efficiency by restocking supplies, tidying patient rooms, and ensuring equipment and materials are readily available for nursing staff.
8. Prepare rooms for admissions, transfers, and discharges to promote timely patient flow. Including removal of used items and preparation for Environmental Services.
9. Deliver and retrieve supplies, equipment, or specimens as directed, helping streamline unit operations.
10. Maintain a clean, orderly environment by removing clutter to support fall prevention and hallway cleanliness.
