BI/Reporting Engineer II
Job Description:
What you'll be doing:
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and remove blockers (technical, procedural, or environmental) hindering the team’s progress.
- Servant Leadership: Guide and coach the team on Scrum principles, self-organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Product Owner Support: Assist the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritization, and story splitting to ensure a healthy backlog.
- Metric Tracking: Monitor team velocity, sprint burndowns, and other key agile metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster Culture: Promote a culture of transparency, courage, and commitment within the team.
- Agile Mentorship: Mentor the team on "Definition of Done," automated testing, and agile best practices
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
- General conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
