DESCRIPTION:
In this role as a Biotechnologist, you will play a key part in the production and testing of qPCR-based products used in diagnostics and research. You will support manufacturing processes, perform critical quality testing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Working cross-functionally, you will help ensure robust, reliable, and high-quality qPCR products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or a related field

  • 2–5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in the biotechnology or life sciences industry

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP/ISO), with strong understanding of SOPs, documentation practices, and quality management systems

  • Proven ability to perform analytical and functional testing, including data analysis and interpretation

  • Experience in laboratory operations, including reagent preparation, equipment handling, and routine maintenance

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute laboratory activities independently while meeting deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in Lithuanian and English

  • Good computer skills (MS Office and data management systems)

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience with qPCR techniques, including reagent preparation, assay setup, and data analysis

  • Familiarity with enzyme activity assays, stability testing, or molecular biology-based product development

  • Experience with document control systems (e.g., MasterControl) and deviation/complaint management tools

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1 983,33–€2 970,83.
