$34.90 - $52.35The Department of Biostatistics and Data Science in the Division of Public Health Sciences at Wake Forest School of Medicine is recruiting to fill multiple biostatistician positions. A master’s degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in statistics/biostatistics or mathematics and strong analytic skills will be considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Responsibilities include collaborating with medical investigators on the design, conduct, analysis, and presentation of single- and multi-center research projects and clinical trials. Experience with consulting and statistical programming, especially SAS, Python and/or R, are preferred. Experience with EPIC, FISMA compliance, or RedCAP a plus.
Job Summary
Under administrative guidance and review, collaborates in designing and monitoring biomedical research projects and assumes primary responsibility for the analysis and presentation of project data.
Major Responsibilities
Education/Experience
Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Mathematics, or related area.
Three years' experience working in a biomedical environment.
Experience in analyzing data using statistical package(s).
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to organize data and communicate statistical concepts to non-statisticians
Ability to write statistical considerations for grant proposals
