Day - 8 Hour or less Shift (United States of America)

Department

8461 Clinical Engineering

Responsible for basic technical service including inspections, inventory and preventative maintenance of biomedical equipment and systems as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Required: High school diploma

Preferred: Technical training in electronic (AA, AAS, or certificate program in process or completed)


Experience
Preferred: Previous mechanical, electronic troubleshooting, electro-mechanical experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential

Maintains accurate and complete inventory of medical devices and systems.

Documents all service activities.

Provides timely and effective preventative maintenance and technical service on medical systems for which training has been received.

Maintains accurate parts and logistics records.

Continually increases knowledge on medical devices contained in the Medical Equipment Database through study of technical manuals, training, shadowing and industry periodicals.



Additional

Serves as an effective team member and role model for other team members.


Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$21.20 -$31.80
