BIM Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the lifecycle of the project. This includes overseeing the implementation of BIM requirements, ensuring compliance with Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), and facilitating coordination among project stakeholders. Monitor BIM processes from design to handover, provide training and support for effective model usage, and assist in design reviews, focusing on clash detection and data accuracy. Track project progress, contribute to reporting, and support design excellence and quality assurance. Close collaboration with project managers, discipline leads, and third-party consultants is key to achieving project goals within the defined schedule, budget, and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support in implementing BIM requirements for the projects and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria by third-party design consultants and works contractors, including compliance with the Employer’s Information Requirements, in the Common Data Environment.
Support in design review activities with a focus on coordination, clash detection, and reliable, consistent, and timely date exchange. Responsible for the development and distribution of a one to two-page description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.
Work with other managers and discipline leads to support development of project design and BIM requirements and ensures the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
Collaborates with Design Management/Construction Management team in progress meetings to review project
Formulate action items, and responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
Provide input to preparation of Monthly Report and Design Stage Reviews (and others as required).
Promote design excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
Monitor and report to management on the progress of all activities within the project, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project brief, cost or schedule.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in any related discipline.
Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar project.
