At Hitachi Energy, we’re building the ES Regional Office (ESOPC) in Madrid as part of our Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU).
The BIM coordinator plays a key role in executing complex power electronics and grid infrastructure projects. As a BIM Coordinator, you will support multidisciplinary teams by ensuring effective model coordination, data consistency, and compliance with global BIM standards. Your contribution will directly enable the successful design and delivery of technologies that enhance grid resilience, stability, and sustainability.
How you'll make an impact
Support of the implementation of BIM into projects working with global teams and other business units to incorporate best practices.
Support the development of BIM Execution Plans and ensure that the specified plan is followed during project execution.
Support development and trainings of team on BIM processes and tools.
Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines, including frequent model management administration and maintenance.
Support BIM coordination meetings.
Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up.
Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams.
Your background
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, with 3 years' experience in Drafting/CAD.
Experience in Revit, ACC, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM authoring tools for technical support and mentoring.
Experience in BIM coordination, methodologies, and data management.
Ability to manage time and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
We seek a self-motivated achiever who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Advanced proficiency in English is essential due to the international nature of our work environment. Additional language skills are highly valued.
Willingness to travel up to 10%; more in the beginning for learning.
